26.02.2010 - Hotel Change
The tournament hotel have been changed from MiTC Ancasa Hotel to Emporer Hotel due to some reservation issues. It`s a better hotel and everyone will be placed in twin sharing basis (instead of a mixture of twin and triple sharing).

16.01.2010 - Grand Final
The Grand Finale of 2nd Malaysia Debate Open on the 8th March 2010 will be open for public viewing.
If you're not a participant but is interested in watching the grand finale, you can register from now to 1st Feburary! Details are as below:
- Date & Day: 8th March 2010 (Monday)
- Time: 7:00 p.m.
- Venue: Dewan Seri Negeri, Melaka
- Dress code: Full Formal/ School Uniform
- Number of tables available: 20 tables (10 people per table)
- Table Charges:
- School Students – RM 150 (average of RM 15 per person)
- College/University Students – RM 200 (average of RM 20 per person)
- Others – RM 300 (average of RM 30 per person)

14.01.2010 - Adjudication subsidy
The organising committee will be allocating 15 slots for subsidised adjudicator, where we will cover their registration fee and accommodation expenses.
Those meets the brief criteria will be considered by the adjudication core.

16.12.2009 - Clarifications
We've been getting a lot of questions about the nature of this tournament. Here are some clarifications :
- Malaysia Debate Open is an international tournament. It is open to everyone around the globe.
- It is compulsory to fulfill the N1 criteria. Since its an open tournament, we believe getting a 4th person as an adjudicator would not be difficult.
- You can register a cross team/composite team, this is an open tournament.
- This tournament is conducted in the Asian Parliamentary Style. It's a 3 on 3 debate style.

Costs Summary
- Registration : RM 170 per adjudicator
- Accommodation : RM 42.50 per night per adjudicator (Total RM 170 for 4 nights)
- Total cost for an independent adjudicator : RM 340 per adjudicator
In your registration form, you have to provide, personal details, accommodation preference and debate profile. Please read the requirements and more information on how to register as an independent adjudicator here.
